If you’re installing a net on a pool, or spa, or using a combination leaf cover and net, or just a leaf cover alone, the Brass Keyhole Anchor is the industry standard.
Begin by determining the layout and anchor placement. You will need to drill the deck using a 3/4 inch hammer drill, though a core drill is preferred.
Once the core is removed, insert the Brass Keyhole Anchor into the hole. Ensure the narrow section of the keyhole faces the pool.
A properly installed Keyhole Anchor will securely accept the Conehead Clip and maintain the designated tension for your project.
The Keyhole Anchor is available in sizes 0.73, 0.74, and 0.75.
If you are drilling with a brand new bit, you should use Point 75. For professionals installing daily, you’ll notice the bit wearing down over several weeks, resulting in slightly smaller holes. At that point, you should switch to Point 74. Continuing to use the same bit will eventually necessitate a change to size Point 73 as the bit continues to wear.
