Many companies use a 2 pole system when they need to create a turn that is 45 degrees or beyond in your fence. This may force other poles in your fence to bow awkwardly. The Corner Post allows your fence to maintain tension around a corner without the pole bowing while minimizing the number of holes in your deck.
Double Pole Corners
One method of handling sharp turns is to use two poles in each corner. This method is referred to as ‘Double Pole Corners’. This method is acceptable, however, it is difficult to maintain the spacing between the poles due to ‘bowing’ and maintaining wrinkle free mesh is more challenging.

This installation above shows the traditional method of handling ‘corners’. This method does not allow for true 90 degree turns and maintaining wrinkle free mesh can be more difficult. Although the end result is functional, it is not as aesthetically pleasing or as strong as an All-Safe “Corner Post”.

When a standard pole is used at the ‘corner’ or ‘sharp turn’, the pole tends to ‘flex’ and ‘bow’ under the tension of the fence. This flexing causes the mesh to wrinkle. This challenge is overcome by using an All-Safe “Corner Post”, which is extremely strong, very rigid and has virtually no flex.
