Having gaps in your pool fence can allow access to the pool area or make your pool fence installation non ASTM compliant (gaps in your fence that are 4 or more inches wide, make your installation non ASTM compliant). For most pool owners, the whole reason for the Pool Fence in the first place, is to prevent access to the pool area. We want to ensure that all pool safety barriers are properly blocking access, no matter what the installation type is.
Our Piggyback options address gaps and awkward spaces that range anywhere from 0 to 8.25 Inches wide. If you have a gap exceeding 8.25 inches, check out our Side Panel options.
No backyard is the same and every pool fence layout is different. Some pool owners have retaining walls, glass walls, pipes, decorative framing, etc. that prevent the pool fence from getting close enough to close gaps or awkward spaces. Using our Piggyback method, the gaps are filled with custom posts.
Whether it’s a “Piggyback” or a “Piggyback Plus” these exclusive All-Safe Fence options allow the installer to address special gaps that a normal fence section cannot tackle.
