This past weekend there were two near-drowning incidents in Orange County that left both toddlers in critical condition. Later, at about 6:45 pm a 17-month-old girl in Placentia was found floating in a swimming pool during a family gathering. Both toddlers were rushed to the hospital by paramedics in critical condition. In 2014, Orange County first-responders received 85 drowning calls, 41 of which were fatal.
