Description

Maintain consistent 36-inch pole spacing when laying out a DIY removable pool fence.

The Peg Pole Drill Spacing Template provides a quick visual reference for marking the standard 36-inch spacing used between All-Safe 1/2-inch Peg Poles. Position the template on the deck, mark the next hole location, and continue along the planned fence line.

This template is optional and is not required to install an All-Safe pool fence. Many professional installers measure and mark each hole using a tape measure. However, DIY installers may find the template helpful for maintaining consistent spacing and reducing repeated measurements along straight fence runs.

The template is intended for laying out hole locations only. It does not guide the drill, control the drilling angle, or replace proper measuring, layout, and drilling techniques. Curves, corners, gates, elevation changes, and other nonstandard areas may require adjusted spacing and individual measurements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the spacing template required to install Peg Pole fencing?

No. Professional installers commonly measure and mark the hole locations with a tape measure. The template is an optional layout aid for DIY installers who prefer a repeatable reference for standard 36-inch pole spacing.

Does this template keep the drill straight?

No. It identifies the next hole location but does not control the drill or drilling angle. For help maintaining the proper drilling angle, consider using the All-Safe Hammer Drill Guide.

Can the template be used for curves, corners, or gates?

The template works best on straight fence runs with standard 36-inch pole spacing. Curves, corners, gates, elevation changes, and terminating points may require adjusted spacing and individual measurements.

What fence poles does this template work with?

It is designed for removable pool fencing that uses 1/2-inch Peg Poles installed at standard 36-inch spacing. It is not intended for Classic or Ultra 1-inch fence poles.
