Yes. The latch and hinges can be positioned for either a left- or right-opening gate. Pool gates should be installed to open outward, away from the pool area. When standing inside the pool area, the gate should pull toward you.
The SafeTech TriLatch and AlfaHinges are designed for pool-safety gate applications. However, the hardware alone does not make the complete gate or fence installation code compliant.
The gate must be installed correctly and meet applicable requirements for height, opening direction, latch placement, clearances and reliable self-closing and self-latching operation. Always confirm local requirements before installation.
Yes. The SafeTech TriLatch and AlfaHinge hardware is included with All-Safe U-Safe Gate Kits and DIY Rectangular Post Gate Kits. You do not need to purchase this hardware separately when ordering one of those complete gate kits.
This standalone kit is intended for customers installing hardware on another compatible gate or replacing the complete latch-and-hinge hardware on an existing gate. It does not include a gate frame or posts.
