Trusted Pool Cover Solutions
Automatic pool covers provide a secure, convenient way to protect your pool while reducing maintenance, heat loss, and water evaporation. Designed for easy open-and-close operation, they act as a safety barrier when closed and help keep your pool clean, warm, and ready to use.
Below are the most common types of automatic pool covers, each offering the same core safety and energy-saving benefits with different design and installation options.
Under-track automatic safety covers are integrated directly into the pool structure, with the tracks concealed beneath the coping or deck. This design offers a clean, low-profile appearance while providing the same push-button safety and energy-saving benefits. Also known as the Infinity 4000 by Latham®.
Top-track automatic safety covers feature tracks mounted on the pool deck surface. This configuration offers the same core automatic safety functionality while allowing greater flexibility for retrofits, modern designs, and unique pool layouts. Available as traditional Latham® track-based system or as advanced top-track solutions, such as Coverseal® by Cover Dream.
A walk-on, movable deck system that completely conceals the pool when closed, transforming the area into usable patio space. Sliding deck covers combine safety, functionality, and modern outdoor design. Also known as the S-Slide™ system from CoverDream.
Telescoping or sliding enclosures that surround your pool, offering protection from debris and weather while extending your swimming season. Panels open or retract to provide flexibility based on conditions. Commonly offered as the N-Enclosure™ system from CoverDream.
Note: Both under-track and top-track systems provide the same core automatic safety and energy-saving benefits. The difference is primarily in track placement and visual integration.
The best automatic pool cover depends on your pool design, whether you’re building new or remodeling, and how you plan to use your outdoor space. Use the guide below to help narrow your options.
†Sliding deck pool covers can be used on both new and existing pools, provided there is adequate deck space for the system to slide open when in use.
Automatic pool covers are designed to make pool ownership easier, not more complicated. With simple key or switch operation, your pool can be opened or secured in seconds — no lifting, folding, or manual handling required.
When closed, the cover provides peace of mind by creating a secure barrier over the pool. When open, it stays neatly concealed so you can enjoy your pool without obstruction. Many homeowners appreciate how an automatic cover helps reduce daily maintenance, keeping the pool cleaner between uses and minimizing time spent on upkeep.
It’s a solution built for everyday living — combining safety, convenience, and comfort without adding extra steps to your routine.
Automatic pool covers are custom-built systems designed specifically for your pool’s size, shape, and installation requirements. Because no two pools are exactly alike, pricing varies based on several key factors.
Automatic pool covers are a professionally installed safety solution. Unlike removable pool fences or safety nets, these systems involve integrated tracks, motors, and custom fabrication.
Typical investment ranges include:
Traditional under-track and top-track automatic safety covers from Latham® typically start around $10,000 and can range upward of $20,000+, depending on:
CoverSeal® top-track automatic safety covers are a more advanced system and typically start around $20,000, with pricing increasing based on:
Advanced architectural systems such as the S-Slide™ sliding deck pool cover and N-Enclosure™ retractable pool enclosure typically range from $25,000 to $50,000+, depending on:
These systems function as integrated structures—not just covers—and involve additional design, fabrication, and installation planning.
Important Budget Consideration
If your primary goal is pool safety and your budget is under $10,000, a removable pool fence or safety net may be a better fit. These options provide effective safety benefits at a lower initial investment.
We offer multiple pool safety solutions to match different budgets, pool designs, and long-term goals.
Automatic pool cover pricing is influenced by:
These factors ensure your cover fits seamlessly, operates reliably, and meets safety and performance standards.
Automatic pool covers are manufactured to order and professionally installed to ensure proper operation and long-term performance.
Because every project is unique, timelines are best confirmed during a consultation.
Automatic pool covers are more specialized than pool fences or safety nets, and availability can vary by system type and region.
Most local pool safety installers focus on fences and safety nets and may not offer automatic pool covers. In some cases, installers may support traditional track-based systems, such as Latham® under-track or top-track covers, depending on experience and regional availability.
CoverSeal® automatic pool covers are a newer solution, and at this time, All-Safe Pool serves as the primary point of contact for CoverSeal® systems. We work directly with homeowners to evaluate feasibility, coordinate design considerations, and guide next steps.
If there is interest, we are happy to coordinate with qualified resellers who would like to participate in the installation process.

Due to the many variations in monitors, phones, and browsers, color samples and product examples may appear different on different screens. Computers and mobile devices are not all calibrated equally and color reproduction on the Internet is not precise. The same is true for printed items such as brochures and other sales literature.
In addition, the colors of our products photograph differently under different lighting conditions. For example, photos taken in full sunlight will vary from photos taken on a cloudy or overcast day. Similarly, shadows from nearby objects can affect the color and transparency of our products. If a precise color or specific shade is important, please inspect the actual color of your product prior to installation.
Many of our products’ materials are not available through typical stores and vendors and therefore must be custom manufactured specifically for our use. In order to control costs and provide you with the best value possible, our raw materials are produced in large batches and can often take several months to receive. The colors of our materials can, and often do, vary slightly from batch to batch. Although we make every effort to minimize color variations, we cannot be responsible for these differences when they occur. If a precise color or specific shade is important, please inspect the actual color of your product prior to installation.
For example, we use the name “putty” to describe some of our products. Your idea of the color “putty” may be different than someone else’s idea of “putty”. In addition, products may have the same color name but may not be the exact same color. For example, we have different shades of “black”. Please do not order using color names as your only guide. If a precise color or specific shade is important, please inspect the actual color of your product prior to installation.
If it is important that your product be an exact color or shade, it is highly recommended that you inspect the actual product prior to its installation and address any concerns with your local independent installer. Most independent installers do not offer refunds or accept returns due to color variations.
