Solar Sun Rings are passive solar heating devices designed to warm your pool naturally. Each ring generates 21,000 BTUs of heat per day by converting sunlight into usable heat.
Made from two layers of durable, UV-resistant vinyl, the top clear layer focuses sunlight on the blue lower layer, which absorbs 50% of the light and converts it into heat. The remaining sunlight passes through for deep water heating.
Additionally, Solar Sun Rings are equipped with six magnets that help them “raft” together while preventing entrapment in accidental falls. They are also designed to separate easily if caught by an automatic pool cleaner hose, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
To achieve optimal heating, we recommend covering 70-80% of your pool’s surface area with Solar Sun Rings.
