Because all mesh is installed under tension, the actual manufactured dimensions may vary by approximately ±1/2 inch from the listed size. This variance is normal and necessary to allow the mesh to be properly stretched and tensioned during installation. If the mesh were manufactured to the exact finished dimensions of the frame or section, proper installation and tensioning would not be possible.

Mesh size refers to the spacing and pattern of the weave in the fence fabric. A 5×7 mesh has a tighter weave with smaller openings, while a 10×10 mesh has a more open weave with larger openings.
If you’re trying to match existing material, you can measure a 1-inch by 1-inch section of the mesh and count the strands. A 10×10 mesh will have approximately 10 openings across and 10 down, while a 5×7 mesh will have about 5 by 7. This can help you confirm which style you have before ordering.
