It depends on the type of removable pool fence you’re installing.
Diamond Core Bits (sold on this page) are designed for use with wet core drilling machines and are commonly used by professional installers.
If you’re installing a 1/2-inch Peg Pole removable pool fence as a DIY project, you’ll most likely be using a hammer drill, not a wet core drill. In that case, you’ll need an 18-inch long masonry hammer drill bit, which is different from a diamond core bit. We do not currently sell these hammer drill bits, but they are readily available at most local home improvement stores.
If you already have access to a wet core drill, or you’re a professional installer, choose the appropriate diamond core bit on this page based on the deck sleeve or PVC sleeve you’re installing.

Yes. Our diamond core bits are compatible with many removable pool fence brands. Simply choose the core bit size that matches the deck sleeve or PVC sleeve required for your fence system.

Green (Basic): DIY-friendly. Uses standard tools like a hammer drill (owned or rented). No specialty parts or complex techniques required.
Yellow (Intermediate): Moderate difficulty. Requires specialized installation techniques and additional or custom-ordered parts.
Orange (Advanced): High difficulty. Requires a core drill for 1-inch fencing and/or advanced professional installation methods.
Red (Expert): Complex projects. Involves steep slopes, large elevation changes, custom on-site fabrication, and specialized equipment.
The warranty coverage for your core bit depends on the manufacturer selected when purchasing.
All-Safe branded core bits are covered by the All-Safe Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Warranty coverage does not apply to normal wear, misuse, improper operation, improper storage, damage resulting from incorrect drilling practices, or normal wear of the diamond cutting segments.
