Whether you’re a DIY homeowner or a professional installer, this hammer drill for pool fence guides helps ensure straight or angled holes with less hassle and more confidence.
*You can purchase a hammer drill bit from your local hardware store. The drill bit shown in our videos is 5/8" x 18"
The guide is designed for removable pool fencing that uses 1/2-inch Peg Poles installed in 5/8-inch deck sleeves. It is not compatible with Classic or Ultra 1-inch fence poles, which require larger wet core-drilled holes.
No. The guide does not include a rotary hammer drill or masonry bit. You will need a rotary hammer drill and a 5/8-inch × 18-inch masonry bit, which can typically be purchased or rented locally.
Yes. The guide can be adjusted up to 10° to create straight or angled holes. Angled holes may be used to improve fence tension or accommodate certain layout conditions.
This guide is primarily intended for concrete and solid masonry. Pavers, tile, and other finished surfaces can crack or shift and may require a different drilling method or professional installation.
The video shows a prototype accessory that is not included with the Hammer Drill Guide and is not available for purchase. It was used during early product testing but is not required to operate the guide or successfully drill your fence holes.
