4 Foot Gate Frame Measures 46.5 Inches Tall by 30 Inches Wide
- Gate Frame Finish: Smooth Brown
- Gate Mesh: Hampton Brown
Gate Frame with Mesh comes with Gate Mesh, Screws and Moldings already attached to the frame. The gate frame is the “door” for a gated entry into a pool fence. You do need additional parts to complete the full gate entry installation.
What is needed to install a gate on a pool fence?
To add a gated entry to your pool fence, you will need one Gate Frame with Mesh along with two Gate Posts (available in either Rectangular or Double Pole) and one Gate Latch & Hinge Kit. The gate latch and hinge kit we offer from D&D Technologies will ensure that your gate is self-closing, self-latching and lockable. For some installations, additional Pole with Components may also be needed.
In most cases, a gate can also be added into any existing pool fence installation.
Why is a 4 foot gate frame not 4 feet tall?
The gate frame itself is not 48 inches tall, its 46.5 inches tall. This is because the frame sits off of the ground a few inches.
What spacing is needed to install a gate entry?
When a gate entry is installed (1 gate frame, 2 gate posts & gate latch & hinge bag) it takes up approximately 34-36 inches of space. See our Gate Frame Spacing diagram that explains how spacing is estimated.
